Experiences and Activities

The area surrounding Riola Sardo is an ideal destination for those who love an active holiday, thanks to a wide variety of outdoor experiences available all year round. Sea, sports, and nature come together in an authentic setting, perfect for sports enthusiasts and those wishing to discover the more natural side of Sardinia.

Case Fiorite, thanks to its strategic location, is an ideal base for easily reaching all the main activities in Sinis and the province of Oristano.

Motocross

Case Fiorite is just minutes away from “Le Dune”, the renowned crossodromo di Riola Sardo, one of the most important facilities on the national and international scene.
The homologated track, measuring 1650 metres, is very technical and features a sandy surface that ensures excellent drainage even in case of rain. Due to these characteristics, the circuit is chosen by numerous Italian and foreign teams for winter training, making Riola Sardo a reference point for motocross.

Horse Riding

The Centro Ippico Sinis, located near the beaches of Su Pallosu and Sa Mesa Longa, in the municipality of San Vero Milis, organises enchanting horseback excursions along the coast.
The rides take place in the splendid landscape of Sinis, among mastic and juniper trees, reaching the four Spanish towers and offering panoramic views of the entire Gulf of Oristano and the Isola di Mal di Ventre. Among the most fascinating destinations is the beach of Sa Mesa Longa, crossing the sandy dunes near the salt marsh, where you can admire the pink flamingos.

Surfing

A few kilometres from Case Fiorite is Capo Mannu, recognised as the best spot in the Gulf of Oristano and considered the Mecca of surfing in Sardinia, Italy, and the Mediterranean.
Thanks to its geographical position, this area offers ideal conditions especially when the mistral wind blows, when the quality of the waves reaches its peak. Along the entire Sinis coast, surfing takes centre stage among waves, foam, and stunning natural scenery.

Diving

The Area Marina Protetta del Sinis organises guided dives to discover seabeds rich in marine life. Among the most striking is the dive near the Cattedrali, two large granite buttresses rising from the seabed in the southwest of the island of Mal di Ventre, inhabited by lobsters, sea bream, groupers, moray eels, and sea turtles.

It is also possible to explore Carousel, a part of the granite slab connecting Mal di Ventre to the Scogliera Catalana, characterised by cracked rock sections and colourful corals. For wreck enthusiasts, dives are available on a sunk Dutch cargo ship, with the possibility of being supported by diving instructors.
