Riola Sardo and the Sinis territory

The province of Oristano is a corner of the most authentic Sardinia, a mosaic of wild nature, unspoilt beaches, and important archaeological sites, ideal for those who love to experience the outdoors all year round.
Case Fiorite is located in Riola Sardo, at a strategic crossroads that allows you to reach the main attractions of the Sinis in just a few minutes, from the quartz beaches of the Protected Marine Area to internationally renowned archaeological sites, and the green landscapes of the Montiferru hinterland.

Beaches of the Sinis

The Beaches of the Sinis are among the most fascinating in Sardinia for the variety of their landscapes and the powerful nature that characterises them. Is Arutas, Maimoni, and Mari Ermi are world-famous for their white quartz grains, smoothed by the sea and wind, a rare natural element that tells a millennia-old story linked to the island of Mal di Ventre, visible off the coast.

Alongside these iconic beaches, the area offers completely different yet equally enchanting scenarios: just a little further north is S’Archittu, with its spectacular natural rock arch diving into the sea. This location has become even more internationally renowned in recent years, also thanks to the great media visibility that has made it a highly sought-after destination.

Tharros and San Giovanni

San Giovanni di Sinis is a charming location where the crystal-clear sea meets Sardinia’s ancient history. Here lie the ruins of the ancient city of Tharros, with Phoenician and Roman remains and Punic cemeteries, making this place unique and full of charm.
Walking among the ruins overlooking the sea means experiencing a blend of culture, landscape, and timeless atmosphere.

Montiferru

The Montiferru represents the most authentic soul of the Oristano province hinterland. This area offers green landscapes, ancient villages, and archaeological evidence, far from the most crowded tourist routes.
Among millennia-old nuraghi, enchanting waterfalls, and trails immersed in nature, Montiferru is the perfect complement to the beaches of the Sinis, ideal for those wishing to discover the most genuine Sardinia.

Mont’e Prama

Just a stone’s throw from Riola Sardo is the famous archaeological site of Mont’e Prama, discovered in the 1970s during agricultural work. The excavation campaigns have unearthed an exceptional statuary heritage, including the famous statues of the Giants of Mont’e Prama.
Thanks to the work of archaeologists, many statues have been restored and are now on display at the Museo Civico Giovanni Marongiu di Cabras, making Mont’e Prama an unmissable stop for history and archaeology enthusiasts.
